Generally in men the latest it takes for beard growth to be fully mature is 25. If you're still having issues with patchiness by then that's probably just how your body is. A transplant could help get it fuller if it bothers you a lot. I've heard from some that minoxidil can help but you should consult with a doctor before trying it, as minoxidil is not made with facial hair in mind.Leave a comment:

I agree that you actually look even better with the shaved head. Consider yourself very fortunate. You're gonna be able to avoid many years of stress and anxiety down the road battling your hair loss.
And ignore the negative comments about looking like you just got out of jail and whatnot. I'm sure these things are said with no bad intentions, but I find that sort of remark rather ignorant - as if only people in prison shave their heads. Lol. You look great, so move forward with confidence.

Envy.hello everyone,
so i started balding since i was about 19 years old and from pattern i am balding i will be nw6 ( that's what doctors said and yeah that sucks, but that's not uncomonn in our family). so after my 22 birthday i decided to shave my head, just to see how it looks. and i don't know. it kinda looks , kinda not it's just weird to me. from others i didn't get single positive reaction ( maybe because they were shocked) and everyone told i am ever look like from jail or like someone who has cancer. so i am adding one photo 1 week after i shaved my head and one with hair. so i wanna know your opinions.
p.s. my english suckLeave a comment:

Matt, you should post the pic for us to see!A few years ago I was on a dating site. One of the photos I used was taken at Dr Rahal's office the day after my procedure (when I had a shaved head - but I cropped it slightly and made it B&W so that it wasn't apparent that I'd just had HT surgery!) and the girls that messaged me (including my now girlfriend) commented that I looked "dangerous" and like a "criminal". Were these negative comments? Not at all. They liked the photo and my girlfriend is keen for me to buzz my head again.Leave a comment:

I am 21 years old and also considering shaving my head for the same reasons as you. I am scared of losing weird because I have a very big head but a very small Jaw. I think you look much better with a shaved head. For the people who say you look scary, I think that is a good thing. Looking scary means looking good. I hope to look scary when i shave my headLeave a comment:
