Yes, go on Finasteride because it DOES help especially the crown area of many many men!
Overall your hair looks A-OK!! Right now it is certainly only maturing.
That is a fact of life bro! Acceptance is so important for all of us!!
Got to get ready for work,,sorry!!

No, you should not take finasteride.
You wouldn't need it right now and
you might not ever need it.
;O are you serious ? are you sure you aren't mistaking me for someone else again !! But it makes me feel really good that you'd think so

Thanks alot for the help Artista!

Hey again!, I just turned 20 I also want to mention that I just saw a general physician regarding my hair, and he told me that he himself can't see anything wrong with my crown, regardless he referred me to a dermatologist.
I personally don't want to start fin right away I will wait and see what the dermatologist says once I go see him/her.

Kuki! So very happy to see your positive attitude and that you're taking the very sound, helpful advice given to you by Artista to heart. You have a great head on your shoulders (not to mention a great head of hair ) and I respect your logical, mature response to this entire situation.

We can't control what happens to us, but we can control our responses to those things. You seem to have learned this at a very early age, and this can only mean GREAT things for your life.

Wishing you many, many years of a full head of hair.

I am a patient advocate for Dr. Parsa Mohebi in Los Angeles, CA. My opinions/comments are my own and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Dr. Mohebi and his staff.

In fact I never paid attention to my crown or hairline, but when I did I didn't like what I saw. A few weeks ago I went to a doctor and he prescribed me a shampoo with ketoconazole. The dandruff is gone by now, the scalp is no more itchy.
My dad started balding when he was 21 or so. My mothers father isn't bald even now (he's 78). I've read that in 75% of cases the genes responsible for alopecia are inherited from your mother's side. I look a lot like my mom (her facial features). Can you tell me what's really going on? If I'm loosing hair - please tell me, because I don't want to hear it from someone at my studies... In that case I do lose hair, please, don't tell me to stay away from this forum for at least half a year or that it 'looks normal to you'. My mom says I'm balding, but she's pretty much of a troll, so I don't know if I can trust her on this one. One of my friends told me it's fine and the other one that I'm balding. Sorry for too much letters, it's just that I'm going crazy lately. If it's a hairloss should I start using minoxidil? I'd like to avoid it if possible... Thanks!
Stop complaining!!! Just look ar this situation ? like you have one more chance to change your appearence!!! In a word, read this marvelous article!! For example, facial hairs go pretty well with a bald head, so it would be an excellent idea to go bald with beard way. Beards have always been a huge trend but over the last few years, they seem to have become even trendier and more men nowadays prefer to keep rather than shave them.
So, relax! And enjoy your life!!!!
