You know, if you just want to make sure that you'll maintain your current hairline as long as possible, then I'd probably understand. You could go to a clinic and hear if they think it makes sense to strengthen up your hairline in order to maintain it. But if you're really not happy with the way it looks right now, then I seriously think you're suffering from this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Body_dysmorphic_disorder as your hairline is about as perfect as can be.

I love my hairline right now. I havr some cool styles with it and ive even started showing it off rather than trying to hide it at times. Im worried about future loss not how it looks todat...

Agreed that these photo's show a slightly different picture, temples slightly receded more than I concluded from your previous pictures. But man your hair is still really thick. I honestly would wait at least another year. However, like GC noted, you don't seem to accept that opinion, so if it makes you feel better, go to a clinic and ask their opinion like GC suggested. Maybe Gho would operate on you and do for example 500 grafts to slightly lower your temples and strengthen up your hairline. But again, I think it's really not necessary and your hairline looks great as it is.

But if you REALLY want to go ahead, then I'd not CHANGE anything at all, but just strenghten everything up to prevent future loss. I think your hairline is just perfect as it is for an adult and changing it will make you look immature and thus will make you look worse, not better. But of course it's all up to you man.

That's not a dig at you, I just think you should have a chat with someone who can see it up close. Nothing to lose, plus might make you feel better for being proactive.

Fair enough. Do you see q problem in these pics? Also where can I find decent hair clinics? I have been to a derma who diagnosed me with MPB but that was just based on my hairline receding nothing else but a one secpmd look at my hair

I am pretty certain I am close to a Norwood 2. I have been a Norwood 1 from puberty up til about August 2011 when it started the recession process.

I think my pictures are misleading as my recession is deeper than it looks - the tape measure does not lie.

More like a U to me - your hairline may not be completely straight, but your forelock pretty much is. See photos of young Jude Law for someone who has a V.

Gho even said himself in one of the interviews that he has no idea how bald a young patient will become so he prefers not to transplant them. If there is zero damage caused, why would he say that? It's a hair transplant no matter how you slice it.

Yes, Gho did say this, then he went on to say that he definitely can help people under the age of 25, but they need to understand that their hairline needs to be one that would look natural when they are older. Also, in an email he explained young patients need to understand that they will likely require more surgery after the first, so, as he said in his interview, they don't end up with "two horns" on the front of their head. He is concerned with this, as most young patients may not have the funds they need to have another surgery a year later if they require it.

You are right what you said though about hairlines. I am a NW 2 and in 2004 I went for a HT consultation and fortunately was advised by the surgeon not to make what would have been the biggest mistake of my life.

Gho said on his interview with spencer he wouldn't give people hairlines that will look unnaturally low when they get older.
