Dr. Cole any help is welcome. We would still like to send hellouser and Desmond beacuse they've been a part of this community for a long time and we trust them to tell us everything they can.

Desmond is for sure is a trusted member of this community! His contributions are always very helpful and very professional, so my vote is for him and him only. Hellouser seems to be an extremely troubled person. There is no way I think anyone should trust him with money or to report back the truth to this community. He posts some crazy irrational things on this and other forums and just because he posts a lot does not make him qualified to represent the internet hair loss community at such an important event. I say just have Desmond and Dr. Cole. It makes sense to have one doctor giving his reporting and insights and someone with the past experience of going to the conference before and with the community credibility that Desmond has.

These meetings are only for eating and food. Nothing special and nothing new. Only talking stupid subjects how Minoxidil works on hair. Loosers, we know how it works. Give us something new.

I think in this case we need to combine the communities of BTT and *** to make this fundation far more realistic. Also, Is there a way of cintribution such that if we don't make it to the final goal (the desired amount of money), the users that donated get their money back automatically? There must be some web tool that supports that option. It will be such a headache if we don't make it to the final goal and we will need to start dividing the sum back to each user. In that way we don't need to make a list of each user and his donation, it will stay anonymous and easy to use.

I lurk like crazy on the 'cutting edge / Future Treatments' forum. I'd be willing to contribute just to keep the discussion going with some good new intel. Keeps me hopeful that something is coming. Only fair since I get a lot from here and don't give back. Once a year contribution seems like a great trade for me. Will keep an eye out on how to send coin.

As I've already stated, I reserved a room for whomever we send to the Congress. I reserved 5 nights but the person/people we send may end up just needing 4 nights so I could cancel 1 night if that's desired. In any case, I had to pay for 1 night in order for the hotel to make the reservation. I can cancel the entire reservation and get all of my money back and get the authorization removed from my credit if I decide to cancel the reservation. If we don't hurry up and collect some money and pay for the entire cost of the room I'm going to have to cancel the reservation in a week or two. I'm going to undergo a gall-bladder removal surgery and there is a small chance that something could go wrong. I'll have to sign something saying I understand that I could die.

Of course since I reserved all 5 nights on my credit card that means that if I died my credit card be remain responsible for the room for those 5 nights and my credit card would be billed for it even though I was dead. The charge has already been authorized although the money has not been taken out of my card.

I have my surgery mid on like October 10th or October 19th, I forget which one. In either case, on or about October 5th I'm going to cancel the reservation so we need to get cash to the hotel to pay for the room or else the room will be lost. There aren't many rooms left for those nights so if I cancel the reservation then there is a real possibility that we may be unable to get rooms at that hotel for those nights. And even if we could get rooms for those nights they might cost more per night. I just called the hotel and they indicated they have like 2 rooms left for those nights at the discount rate that I paid $179 per night, and the standard rate is like $350 per night for those nights and the rate could climb higher than that as we get closer to the days of the event.

We need to start collecting cash and sending it to the hotel or we will probably lose the room on 10/05 when I cancel the reservation. If we lose the room then anyone we send will have to pay more for the room and possibly may not even be able to get a room at the hotel for those nights so the person might have to stay somewhere else besides the hotel.

Dr. Cole's a very busy person and I really wouldn't expect him to do recordings of all of the presentations and post those recordings to the community along with doing interviews with researchers, getting pictures of all of the posters, and gathering all information that we would want and then post everything for us in an easy to understand manner. And he will need notes for when he does the interviews. It would be great if he would do all of this but I would not anticipate that he would do all of this.

Yes, I plan to take some notes. I thought about presenting, but I already have a full calendar this fall with several presentations at the Brazilian plastic surgery meeting in October, a plastic surgery meeting in Puerto Vallarta in November, and the 7th international regenerative surgery meeting in Rome in December. It's enough. I'm just going to enjoy this meeting and all the interesting talks.
