Sometimes I go on youtube and watch the old theBaldTruth shows. I was watching one from October 2011 and JFSI was saying that Bim was one year away. We have no idea when of if these treatments are going to come out.

Hey bro by all means I would love to be wrong on this, but I learned throughout the years that in the industry you cannot believe it until you see it. Also no way Bim will be out next year. They won't even release the results of their new trial until next year. Then it must go through Phase 3. Joe from Staten Island started that rumor on here and he is off base a good bit. Sorry man not a pessimist just a realist.

Some men are in that boat though so your gonna need a lot of money to make that happen because lots of men are desperate to pay it for hair so you better believe they will charge a lot. If there is one thing the medical industry excels at its price gouging people.

So I'm 17 and I have some slight thinning on my head. I can't really afford any of these future treatment right now because my jobs not one of the most high paying jobs (Burger King) but do you think there would be hope for me in the upcoming years in the hairloss industry and how expensive do you think these procedures would cost?

Replicel, in theory, will work on all areas of the scalp.

Except the timelines are always bogus. I saw a very well respected transplant surgeon when I was 22. Said I had too much hair and was too young. That was 2 years ago. If treatments are coming within 3 years, minox, RU and Niz should hold me over. But 5-7? I'm going to have to hope I can get a transplant to bridge the gap.
On a related note, they are anticipating that Replicel will work on transplanted areas of the scalp too right?

Damn thanks for your post Fear... you are correct.

I guess it's just the immediacy of the issue.. immediately there is no viable option, and at the same time my hair looks like SHIT. man, I am not even 25, it is almost impossible to score some young girls with this hairline. I know, i know the usual argument, DGAF it, have confidence, gym blah blah.... but for real this is torture in an era of social media/instagram etc...
