They have upgraded their lab. And they are launching other products, they are a profitable business.
Gail Naugton seems like a smart woman. It's her business and maybe she doesn't even want investment money to speed up a launch for all the moaning sods here.
Maybe they can afford to take their sweet time, you don't know I don't know... It's all just maybe :P

It's not about Skinmedica anymore.. Lets not blame the lack of treatments on Skinmedica.Originally Posted by hellouser View Post

Its about Histogen now, that is not showing any progress right now.Leave a comment:

I don't think that would be possible even if they started tomorrowLeave a comment:

-----------------lol I love it.
"10% is nothing"
Hell 1% is pretty good.
NW7 has around 40,000 hairs from what I estimate by surface area. 10% is 4,000 hairs. Of course not enough to do a lot of damage but would be very nice progression. Paired with other products/methods we can only guess the outcome.
NW3 estimated hair amount, say 60-70k. So a good 6-7k extra hairs. Now we're talking. easily could graph a NW1/2 hairline.
Any progress is progress. We're at the brink of some incredible discovers. Hairloss meds have only been around for like 30 years. In the last 15 years we're uncovered more methods and different meds to reduce hairloss and reverse it. Seriously first 15 years Minox/infancy of hairtranspants/Propecia(at the end of the 15 years.
Just a bit annoyed about everyone complaining about how slow things are going and how it's not going to their liking. 30~ years, ugh.
Seems you do not consider something my dude , Yes everyone has an average of 100k on whole of the scalp and top of our head which is most important one in NW1-5 has around 30K of hairs on average , So if you wanna make a calculation you need to consider those 30K because the others amount would not affected so much by that damn DHT!!Leave a comment:

Histogen is supposed to convert vellus to terminal hairs. The total increase in hair count is less important than the increase in terminal hair count.
Fin and minox can't match a 20% increase in terminal hair on average from a single dose in 12 weeks. Certainly not at the hairline which Histogen has shown.
Some of you guys need to chill the hell out. You read one thing, jump to ridiculous conclusions and then freak out and then upset other guys here with your BS.
Histogen will not be a cure, but with repeated applications it may be a significant improvement on anything we have so far. It may be capable of an average 50% increase in terminal hair count all over the scalp which would be significant.
The big uncertainty is whether the results justify the cost.Leave a comment:

Does this mean that Propecia + Minoxidil together can increase hair by 30%!? So say if one has lost 30,000 hairs, these two products could regrow 10,000 hairs?I've heard once that Minoxidil increases hair count about 10 percent
and propecia about 20 percent
Well all know (minoxidil users) that 10 percent is ridiculous...
Whene i saw histogen last presentation i was shocked:
Important Note: histogen trial was conducted on Norwood 3-6
so can any one explain the 10 percent here? did i miss something?Leave a comment:

Although I don't like to be negative and do recognize that start ups are subject to a lot of challenges, I do have to say that none of us expected to see histogen not start phase 2 b this late in the year.
I would however take into consideration the recent events with the reverse merger. This might finally be what they needed to move forward.
Regardless, all we can do is wait and if we have learned anything, it is not to speculate on this stuff. Because let's be honest part of our expectations were based on nothing but some forumers' wishful thinking
Couldnt have said it better.Leave a comment:

When are they starting new trias?!!!!!!!!
It's been ages since this last trial was completed. Can't see why it takes so long. They must have a start date by now? and is their next trial phase 2? if so, then if they start in january it could take 2 years before results are out.Leave a comment:

Basically what Hairbane says...first doses were very small so they're likely compoundable, but how much? not 100% sure...and also toxicity at high doses could pose problems...either way it will get figured out in trialsLeave a comment:

They haven't done a dosing trial yet, so I don't think we know for sure. There is some toxicity associated with high doses though, so they'll try to find the most effective dosage in that range. Could be compoundable I think.Leave a comment:

the only reason histogen isn't available right now in asia is because of the lawsuit they had with that skin company....not because of their results, because obviously their results are superior to anything we have available...get your facts right before you come to the forums trying to depress everyoneLeave a comment:
