Hey everyone!
Have been losing hair in the shower since November of 2018. Went through a denial phase at first, but after coming home for the summer, it has gotten to a point where I cannot ignore it anymore.
I visited my doctor who said he only saw some mild thinning in my crown, but I shouldn't worry about it too much (no need for any medication). He ran some blood tests and found that I was deficient in Vitamin D.
Since then, I have been taking daily Vitamin D supplements (2000 IU). For the first two days, I didn't notice any hair loss and felt like I had been cured. Then I decided to wash my hair with Head and Shoulders Dandruff shampoo (I have a bit of dandruff as well) and man did I have a shed. Lost maybe like 50+ hairs in that shower alone and had a mental breakdown.
It's been about a week since then and I decided to take all steps to preserving remaining hair. I have just bought Nizoral and am thinking of starting Minoxidil.
Would greatly appreciate any tips and support. Thanks for reading.
