Hi Everyone,
I'm 5 1/2 months post-op, after having 2,000 FUE grafts placed in the crown area by a reputable surgeon. For the first 4 months, almost nothing grew, but in the last month I have seen a marked increase in the number of hairs growing in the transplanted area. It is still patchy, but definitely much better than it was before.
Recently something strange has been happening. The transplanted hairs around the swirl of the crown have been falling out again. In a matter of two weeks, parts of this area have fallen out almost completely, where new hair was just starting to grow before. Does anyone know why this might be happening? What could cause transplanted hair that just started growing to fall out again at this stage (5 1/2 months post-op)?
This is really stressing me out, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
