HT worth it? Before and after pictures not too promising.

The doctors I did see said that I should get between 1,000 and 1,500 grafts around my temples and front refeeding hair line. This would cost between $9,000 and $12,000, but even at the high end, the before and after photos of similar patients didn't look too promising. Rather, the photos that pushed 2,900 grafts looked like very obvious results.

Anyways, I don't know if the photos that were taken just didn't show the true results or if that few number of grafts really is just a "slight help.". Has anyone here had an experience with this?
