This 25-year-old gentleman had a hair loss pattern of a class 2, going into a class 3, on the Hamilton Norwood hair loss scale. His goal was to rebuild his hairline and add density to the frontal 1/3 of his scalp.
Taking his age and hair loss into consideration, I discussed the patient’s goals with him and we came upon an agreement for a surgical plan that would suite his expectations. I paid careful attention, when reconstructing his hairline, so that it would be suitable for him as he continued to age.
A total of 2,033 grafts were used in the frontal 1/3 of his head. These are his results 10 months post-op.
His results will continue to improve over the next 2-5 months. The patient is presently taking Finasteride to try and control further hair loss. The patient is extremely happy with his results.
