View Full Version : I have to pretend.

I have to pretend my hair loss doesn't bother me. Putting on a front is necessary; a mask of sorts.

I must remain clandestine in both my efforts to fight hair loss, and as well in my showing my emotions.

I think a lot of people go through life this way in some aspect of who they are. Whether its something insignificant or not, a lot of people have that "something" that they do their best to try to "mask"

For example I'm sure a lot of small breasted girls/women go through life pretending it doesn't bother them, married or otherwise, when it probably does.

But just like hair loss, some "get over it" and move on. Yes, breasts have a certain sexual appeal, some guys want a handful, just enough to cup one per hand and others want to be buried. Just like some gals like to run their fingers through a guys hair, others like a slick smooth head, some like the little stubbly feeling of a buzz and in both cases many end up just not caring one way or the other.

I've begun to realize lately that if you think negative thoughts and then right them down, you only reinforce even more the negative feelings.
