Hello, new to the site.I was on Propecia for 4yrs. The reason I stopped possible effects. Irritable some would say aggressive, watery sperm, lack of labido and slight depression. Positive side hair loss stopped and I maintained what i had. I have been off my 1mg a day for 14 momnths now and have noticed a slight return to hair loss. I would also like to say during my time on propecia my home and work load were very stressful. So like many other blogs/stories I really can't say for sure these effects were solely from my use.

Why are people shocked by the "side Affects" of propecia?
In fact it's not even a side affect. It's a direct affect.
DHT is directly responsible for regulating chemicals involved in erection process.
DHT also leads to hairloss in genetically sensitive men.
We reduce DHT production to stymie hair loss.
A reduction in DHT leads to erectile dysfunction of varying degrees.
Some men are lucky enough to avoid this. They are the exception.
