I just recently turned 30, baldness does run in my family but males on both sides were bald by now. I'm starting to get a bit paranoid that I may be thinning. Here are some photos of my hair and hairline attached.

I should mention that I've started using testosterone which has prompted my paranoia despite not noticing any changes. I'm well aware of the risks. With that said, I'm obsessively looking for hairs now and notice a few on my hand each time in the shower or if I really try to yank for loose ones. The thing is, I do recall 5-6 years ago when I wore pomade in my hair that I would notice a ton of hair on the comb afterwards. Do I just have thick hair that sheds a lot? Or am I starting to show signs? How do I even tell?

I'd like to avoid using fin/dut, I've read about the side effects and would rather have DHT in my system for the strength and sexual benefits. I started using 25mg RU58841 per day, no side effects so far but I'm not sure how effective that will be for prevention. Also using 1% nizoral every other day.

Thanks for any advice.

Oh my God Jdg, you are 30 years old now and your hair looks GREAT!!!
No worries, stress needed and no need for being paranoid either!
That and and would hurt your hairline bro!!
Again, your hair looks good!! Cheers.

Thanks for the reply. How exactly can I differentiate between normal shedding and MPB shedding? I'm hoping the gene bypassed me but I like being pro-active.

Good to hear back from you Jdg !
Your words:
"How exactly can I differentiate between normal shedding and MPB shedding?"

Ill say again, you do have a GOOD hairline! Seems to be FULL with just a minimal amount of maturing!!
Acceptance is a real thing especially since you DO have a good head of hair.
You cannot allow yourself to be overly-focused on this.
When I was in my 30s, I made much more of a matured hairline that you do.
I did not have serious hairloss back then.
Of course, much later on, I DID have major hairloss....
I ACCEPTED IT for what it was back then not allowing it to harm me in anyway!
You might NOT have serious hairloss later on but no one can really know.
Stay happy and positive bro!! No reason not to.
