View Full Version : Can frequent showering (no shampoo) make hair loss worse?

When there's topical spiro in my hair it's quite greasy, so when I'm going out I usually run water over my hair to get it out, and put in toppik afterwards.

When I go to bed I want to get the toppik out and put topical spiro in, so I put my hair under the shower again, and put in spiro afterwards.

When I do this I don't use shampoo, just lukewarm water.

Can this make hair loss worse? (I've not noticed this happen, but I'm wondering if I can safely keep on doing this)

If you have aga then your hair loss should not get worse by showers or even shampoos. You can just make your hair look thinner than it actually is when you use the wrong hair care products.

Showering will not make hair fall out that would not have fallen out anyway on its own.
