Dr. Robert M. Bernstein, of Bernstein Medical - Center for Hair Restoration, discusses the appropriate age to begin considering hair transplantation in a patient with early hair loss.

"As a general rule, 25 should be the cut-off as the youngest age that a transplant should be considered for genetic hair loss."
