Hi, I just turned 23 and for the past few years have noticed my hairline falling back :( can you tell me if it looks like balding, or mature hairline? and what stage its at? As far as I can tell my crown is okay still, thanks

Still deciding

Looks like a strong hairline with exception of very sight temporal recession. Probably would never be noticed by anyone other than you - or guys like us who have the same worry and are always double checking to see how we are holding up....i'd say you are in good shape but if you made it to point of posting on this site it is obviously a concern for you so perhaps just keep an eye on it. Just my opinion.

Thanks for the reply, It is annoying once you notice it, constantly checking etc.

this is roughly where my hairline was 4-5 years ago

If you look closely at your last picture, you can see a sort of "tanline" where your previous hairline used to be. It's not nearly as low as the dashed line you made. It looks as if you've lost about 2-3 cm, which is completely normal for guys in their early/mid 20's. Look around at your friends or other people you see around your age and I guarantee you at the very least half of them have hairlines even higher than yours.

Keep an eye on it, take pictures every months, and if continues to get worse you can hop on meds but I'm almost certain you won't be going bald anytime soon.
