View Full Version : Fraudulent Clinic....Again

12-12-2012, 03:39 PM
Here we go again.... thanks to the upstanding individuals at UKhairtransplantclinics dot co dot uk. I got an email from my colleague Spex yesterday and he alerted me to this outfit and what they are up to. Cheers Spex!

These people are absolutely shameless in their use of not only OUR patients but those of True & Dorin, Dr. B in Brussels and I believe even Dr. A in India. The lack of mental reasoning necessary for such fraudulent actions is beyond me.

Here is the homepage...

When you click on the NW VI icon in the lower right corner (circled in red) you are greeted with a pop-up window with several before/after images of very bald men...

Patients 1,2 and 4 our Hasson & Wong patients. Are these people meth addicts that just do not care if anyone sees their blatant disregard for common sense? Do they rely on cardboard shavings for nutritional supplements?

I generally find it comical that our pics are used in so many cases of false advertising by other clinics but this one takes the cake. Results by Hasson & Wong, True & Dorin, et. al are all being used to dupe unsuspecting UK patients into having surgical hair restoration. Anyone reading this post that is in the UK should call the number on the first screenshot and ask them why they are fraudulently using photos of other clinics. If you want, maybe you can use their "Live Chat" feature to really let them know they're busted.

Thanks again to Spex for catching this and letting me know. Hopefully the clinic in question will realize their mistake and rectify the issue most ricky tick.

Some people just have no shame or conscience in them. They're not humans. They're low lives of the worst kind. I don't think there's a punishment fit enough for such filth.

Someone SHOULD expose those crooks in every way possible. Would the authorities do anything once they're shown the false pics (and false advertising)?

Amazing how this is allowed to continue to happen in countries where they brag about themselves being "countries of laws".

I might ring them up tomorrow.

Welcome to the Uk hair restoration industry.

12-13-2012, 04:47 AM
A UK patient emailed me who had consulted with this particular clinic (that Joe has highlighted) asking me if he felt this clinics results were legit.. I soon recognised HW pics on their site along with True and Dorin's.

12-13-2012, 04:57 AM
Dr Konior, Dr Bisanga and Dr Avind's work is on there also.

12-13-2012, 05:29 AM
And according to their site, they were asked to feature on a BBC documentary on hair loss and hair transplant surgery!

When the BBC has no idea whatsoever, that is very very worrying indeed.

It makes you question the validity of the other experts they talk to in other industries.

12-13-2012, 01:47 PM
These fraudulent clinics do this type of false advertising because they know the internet is unregulated.

Thank goodness someone is watching! ;)

12-13-2012, 01:57 PM
Shameful, shameless and, well, shitty. The BBC endorsement (of sorts) will trick people into thinking they're legit too.

It just shows that they have no good results of their own.

12-13-2012, 06:24 PM
OMG now you guys know how I feel when I see a botched job covered up and the thread is locked so that it can just disappear in time. Yes I agree it’s all disgraceful.

12-14-2012, 02:13 PM
Thank you to Spex for notifying me, although the patient in question wasn't one of ours on this occasion, (hope my reply to you arrived with regards to this), we have had to write to clinics who have used our work purporting it to be their own and even a clinic advertising that Dr.Bisanga worked for them! So nothing new under the sun but would like to see clinics using their own work and not the work of others and glad it was spotted.

12-15-2012, 11:41 PM
No worries Steve.

I didn't receive your reply; possibly in my spam.

I see all the pictures still remain up on their site ...

I wish I were in the UK or those bastards were here. I wouldn't think twice about carrying a sign with the facts and pics and camping outside their "clinic". I'd make sure the whole country knows about them. Scum of the earth.

12-17-2012, 08:14 PM
Tell me what you guys think of this guy. His clients before and after pictures are very good. Is it legit? I was trying to find the best info I could on 'dense packing' .

12-17-2012, 11:10 PM
HW are 100% legit.

12-18-2012, 02:32 PM
Thankx spex !!!:)

12-18-2012, 10:39 PM

Hey guys. I grew up in West Vancouver. I live in Florida now but my family is stil up there.

I had a procedure done a month ago but I would like to see about subsequent operations done for 'dense packing' . I will shoot you a private message and give you my email.

12-19-2012, 01:05 PM
Hmm, I'm originally from Florida but now live in Vancouver. Wanna trade? We've got snow and you know how Vancouver gets when it snows. We're the laughing stock of Canada because no one knows how to drive, lol!

01-10-2013, 05:36 AM
Another BS company at it with "Bobmans" pics who is a HW patient.:rolleyes: And another HW patients pics i believe.

Bobman is supposidly called Neal from the UK and had FUE with this clinic ..... What a load of tripe!!

Joe, I see the original "clinic" you exposed on here are still housing HW pics.

01-10-2013, 05:44 PM
Well, their clinic looks nice. I wonder if those photos are stolen too. :D

lol. Thats cool. I was raised canadian and my whole family lives there.

I am looking for ultimate density in the front . I will visit your site and inquire as to your pricing etc.............

I am only 2 months out from my first procedure and I like the hairline but the hair hasnt grown in yet and even when it does I have been told by many others I will need a second procedure for density. :)

01-11-2013, 02:33 AM
The ethics of some of these clinics is absolutely shocking.

01-13-2013, 10:57 AM

Thanks for the additional info. I emailed the first clinic and they immediately responded with the typical "our webmaster did it" excuse saying they farmed out the work to a third party so they weren't aware of the issue. I was also told they'd investigate thoroughly. What's to investigate? Take it down!

The second outfit, "Hair Palace", is based in Hungary but are expanding into the UK apparently. Maybe "expanding" is a bit of a stretch. They are using Bobman as "Neal" and then they have our patient from Spain with 8402 grafts in one session. I'll be contacting them this week so see what they have to say for themselves.

In the meantime, are there any UK based attorneys that can shed some light on possible actions that can be taken against these jokers? If so, send me a PM or email joe@hassonandwong.com.

01-13-2013, 12:05 PM
So this hair palace has an open Facebook page and I posted something nice;-) they responded within 30 minutes saying they will '' investigate''.

01-13-2013, 03:26 PM
I agree dishonesty should always be exposed, nice job guys. If you see something say something.

01-14-2013, 02:30 PM
It seems like these clinics who steal patient photos are almost always based overseas. I am no attorney but I do believe that once it is determined the origin where the violation took place, then the violaters are subject to the laws of that particular land/country.

Let's just say for example that the violator's place of origin was in China, then the laws within China would govern the offense. And it may be that a country overseas may not prosecute such a violation like North America would. And further, even if a country of origin had prosecutory laws against stealing the property (photos) from another web site, the punitive repurcussions are so minimal (monetary fine) that the violaters don't care. And downloading pics from one website to another may not be classified as stealing or even a crime! So there's little to lose from their viewpoint and undoubtedly why they do such things.

In addition, many laws are uniform in that "actual damages sustained" must be proved before any recompense is awarded.

And obviously the violaters know the amount of the plaintiff's legal expense would be astronomical to say the least in order to pursue them. So they reason, "we have nothing to lose" and everything to gain especially if they are not caught. It's a shame!

Either way, I truly hope they do the right thing and take them down. My word, these days you almost have to employ someone full time to just keep an eye on this type of thing!

Thank you for your support, Topcat.

So it appears my Facebook comment got their attention. They removed our photos for now. It appears they now have some pics they lifted from the Talizi clinic in the Republic of Georgia:)

01-16-2013, 12:25 PM
It appears the UK hair transplant clinic has also finally taken down the photos when you click on before and after photos you are presented with

This page is currently being update. Please check back soon

To think one of our patients very nearly went with this outfit.

01-16-2013, 03:15 PM
Yeah, I sent another email to them saying that if they did not comply by today I'd discuss the issue publicly on The Bald Truth internet radio this Sunday. I got two emails insisting they were racing to remove the images asap:) I still might anyway just because I hate this kind of crap.

01-16-2013, 04:36 PM
It makes my blood boil Joe :)

02-16-2013, 04:12 AM

It would appear that the clinic is up to its old tricks again.

They have reopened the page with the other stolen before and afters from various known clinics minus the Hasson&Wong before and after pictures.

02-16-2013, 04:41 AM
Terrible, just terrible.

02-18-2013, 01:28 PM
They under-estimate the intelligence of the consumer. They can run, but they cannot hide!
