Delayed growth questions - HT
Hi all,
I was wondering if delayed growth is a real thing or not in hair transplants. I've read stories about guys that had minimal results at, for example 9 months, but their hair looked fine at 12 - 18 months. The reason I doubt slow growth exists (or is as frequent some assert) is because I've never actually seen photo's that indicate the transplanted hairs grew in or matured considerably during this time period.
Has anybody on this forum had delayed growth? If yes, at which month could you see new hairs popping through? Did your transplant look bad at 9 months but improved massively in the following months?
The only possible reason, other than individual physiology, I could find for delayed growth is the discontinuation of minoxidil (a doctor talked about it on some site I forgot) during the hair emerging period of the transplanted hair. Can this be a cause of delayed growth also?
Thanks in advance!
