    Starting/Stopping Rogaine?

Firstly, I'd love a credible answer to a question:
I watched a video that said when you stop using Rogaine, your balding will be worse than if you'd never started in the first place, but is that true? my understanding is that your hair would become the same as if you'd never started, not worse?

Secondly, Is Rogaine effective for the temples and front of the hairline?

    Thank you!

Honestly, I only applied that stuff once and stopped, and now I’m possibly dealing with a shed which has never happened since I started Propecia 9 years ago. You have to commit to that stuff and the chances of it regrowing hair on the temples or hair line are pretty small, though not impossible. Yes, once you stop Rogaine, any hairs you regrew or preserved will fall out quickly.

Thanks for responding GoingBald34, i appreciate your input.
I started Propecia 15 years ago, and its been pretty effective. but now Im starting to notice the front on my hair is slowly marching back.
Why did you decide not to follow through with Min after using it just once?

Great to hear Propecia worked for you for 15 years. Unfortunately, it seems to have lost its effectiveness on me after 9 years of maintaining. Im shedding like crazy all of a sudden, I don’t know if it was the rogaine application that triggered it or stress related, but fin isn’t doing anything for me. Im jumping on Avodart with fingers crossed. Reason I stopped rogaine was because I was not mentally prepared for applying it twice daily and then dealing with the sheds. Looks like it happened either way. 😢
