That transplant looks really interesting. I am really curious to see how it will look. Dr. Cole is incredibly good.
Will most likely look great! Keep us updated.

Glad you made it home safely (albeit after 31 hours of travel )! I can only imagine what an emotional roller coaster an experience like this must be (particularly after traveling so far from home) but I'm glad that things are looking up. I think it's great that you're sharing all the details of your experience, including all the highs and lows, because it's invaluable for other forum members considering hair restoration surgery, and wondering what it truly entails. Take care and stay in touch!

I think we often underestimate the emotional aspect of having surgery so I was so glad that you shared that part of your experience with everyone. I know that the evening following my first procedure, I woke up in the middle of the night and had a "what the heck did I just have done to myself!?!" moment and was just filled with panic. Not knowing how the end result was going to be was such an awful feeling!
On another note, it's amazing that you are going back to work after only a week! There was no way I was feeling ready that early so I went back after three weeks myself.
I wish you all the best in your recovery and we'd love to see how things progress for you.

hey JaySurfs. Thanks for the great documentation. I'd really appreciate an update on how things have progressed for you. I am in almost an identical position to you and have a very similar thought pattern. Also, I'm contemplating moving forward with Cole. Would you mind giving thoughts and posting pictures? Would be incredibly helpful..thanks -- mike

The night before the Op I went out to Midtown and got some food and had some beers in a popular sports bar. I had a fantastic night out and meet some wonderful people including a couple of cute girls who had just been at an Atlanta braves game. This meeting resulted in a timely ego boost prior to the Op. I got back to my hotel around 1am, which sounds late but I had slept all day (yay for jet lag.... not!).
There were no pre op instructions to refrain from alcohol?
