    New on site

I had a 2000 graft hair transplant 3 weeks ago in New York. I live in Tampa and have not seen my transplant doctor since the procedure. My problem is that my doner site is still sore and tender. The rest of the grafts are doing great. I don't have an infection just a very tender and sore doner area. I read on the site that most people don't have this problem. Is this something to worry about? I'm taking 400-600 advil 3x a day and it's still sore to touch and still can't sleep very well due to the discomfort. Could there be serious nerve damage? I appreciate any responses.

Have you called your hair restoration physician? I will be in the Tampa area this weekend. I would be glad to take a look at it for you. My kids are in a hockey tournament, but I am sure I could find the time to meet with you. You should not have to take the Advil/ Anti-inflammatory meds as long as you have. It is more likely to be a slight infection versus nerve damage.

Has the discomfort subsided at all yet? What did your doctor tell you?
