New to sight need opinions of getting help. (pics included)

Hi I'm 21 and my hair loss started when I was around 16. As years went by it was slowly falling out until I went from 19-20 where it very noticeable and the stress from it is too much too handle right now I'm too young! My father has a full head of hair as well as his father and mother and he's 65. My mother has a full head of hair as well as her mother and father. I asked my parents earlier on for help but they just brushed it off and even joked about it. Now its too the point where I can take matters into my own hands and I would like to know opinions of type of hair loss I have and options to take. I am of Filipino descent with straight black hair.

You have the Jason statham look going. It actually looks good. The minoxidil and finestearide will help you keep and even regrow some hair.

As someone who had his first hair transplant at age 23, my advice would be to not get one and here is why. Hair loss is progressive, at 23 I had an ht which established a hairline but left a train track scar on the back of my head. At 29, I had a second HT, because my hair loss had again progressed and the the original hairline from the first HT looked unnatural, almost like a horseshoe of hair on a balding head. I had the first scar excised and it was thinner but longer think ear to ear, resembling a smiley face. At 32, I married, have two wonderful kids, and somewhere along the line I stopped caring about hair loss. So at 38, self conscious about the scar I had FUE procedure in the hopes of just buzzing my hair down a little longer than yours.

A HT, is a personal choice, and I am not trying to discourage you from going that route if that is what you choose. The procedures today appear to be much better today than 15 years ago, when I did my first. Eventually I became comfortable with my hair loss but just can't accept that I chose to put a scar in my head, that bothers me more than hair loss.

When your young losing your hair is traumatic, it was for me. I rushed to the HT route without doing my due diligence. The three procedures have cost me over 16,000 dollars. When I was single I didn't mind, but it really hurt me to do the last one knowing that was money that could have gone toward my kids somehow.

I think you look suave, much better shaped head than me, good luck. This was posted from a phone, so apologies if difficult to read.
