The fact that men are willing to pay for ***** is testament enough that there's an imbalance between the genders, regardless of the presence of laws. Men will give up more (date down, spend money, jeopardize or dismiss friendships). Women can be guilty of it too; there are straight male prostitutes, females will jeopardize friendships and spend money. It's just disproportionate in frequency and intensity.

One has to recognize how debilitating hair loss is to some individuals and how it influences their self confidence. I know many men, who are afraid to go anywhere without a hat.
