Whats the worst part of hairloss?

1 Feeling bad or insecure about something and knowing 'that something' will never get better, just worse.

2 The only insecurity where you're not even being allowed to be insecure and let to let your head down while walking on the street, since this will expose your bald spots even more.

3 Losing a major part of your identity.

4 Feeling you are always coming behind second compared to fatter, unhygienic, unfriendly guys or generally other people who just don't take care of themselves because of something you can't help but they do.

5 Looking way older.

6 Avoiding mirrors because you know if you look into one, you'll see your balding, goofy reflection and know that the rest of your day will be ruined.^^

3. Living in an era where it matters so much.

4. Being young and being robbed of the benefits of youth prematurely.

The Fin 'med shed' is far worse than I imagined. Assumed it wouldn't be noticeable, only mild. It's bad in my case. And I have no option but to keep going with Propecia to see it the shed hair returns...

Not know when (or more accurately if) a workable super-treatment will ever hit the market is terrible. I doubt will have anything beyond fin/dut within the next decade.

Histogen will come out and will help out a lot.

I really hope the future will disprove that. What I foresee is:

- As fin/dut side effects will be better understood, somebody will realize that blocking sistemic DHT conversion is not the right remedy for hair loss

- More or less accurate claims of MPB causes/research undergoing will be tossed out on regular basis by the news, keeping up the minox/fin/dut/current products hook

- Current hair loss industry will progressively lose the capability of influence the media and allegedly control directly or indirectly hair loss research funding

- Some current or future genetic research will prove to be effective, leading to a cure quite expensive in the beginning

I hate that I'm the only one in my circle of friends or even beyond my circle that is balding.

I remember thinking when I was 20, I wish I was 30 so that I wouldn't be abnormally balding. Surely at that age half of my friends would be balding so it would be ok. I'm about to turn 30 and with the help of Fin and Regaine, I'm not a lot worse off then I was when I was 20 although the treatments are wearing off. But now I wish I was 40 so that my friends can catch up to me and so I am still not the abnormal guy.
