Rahal 1441 Grafts
See linK: http://www.baldtruthtalk.com/album.php?albumid=125
This is the exact level and type of HT I'm going for.
Rahal seems to do ok work, but sorry, the prices he charges are ridiculous for what he offers. There is no way he is even viable when you consider travel costs etc.
Why does Rahal always post these kind of extreme youthful hairlines anyway? I can't help but feel like it's a bit of a con to sucker people in to going with him, since most other surgeons operate far more conservatively.

All I can do is laugh when I see this type of result. But as long as the patient is happy and that is what he wants then more power to him.

Why shouldn't you be ambitious? It depends on each case, but what difference does a little bit of boldness make, if the donor area is plentiful? I don't think the prices are too extreme, when you consider you're getting one of the best hair transplant doctors around. He's competitive with Feller and H&W as far as I'm aware.

I just had a much larger session with Dr Rahal than the one you linked. I researched for well over a year and his prices are in line with what other top clinics are charging and offers a travel discount as well (not sure why anyone would go with anything other than a top clinic when it comes to your hair).
Given my hairloss, he was conservative in his approach to my hairline. Trust me, he knows what is possible. I will be posting pics of my 3.5 month progress soon, I had really early growth and tonnes of hair about to burst through!

Everyone knows that these type of "temple closure" cases are unique and that most people looking for a HT are looking to cover a much wider area with the same amount of grafts.
RE: others are more conservative
That said, if you really look closely at the recipient area, all that was done was a temple closure at the existing hairline level. The hairline was not lowered at all. Not that it couldn't have been. it just wasn't.
Just like other plastic surgeries aren't only for ugly people anymore, HT are not just for bald people. This is finesse work and totally brought this hairline to the next level.

The thing is, I'm a student. I have probably 10k to blow on everything in the next seven years. That 10k will need to cover me for a few private things I won't go into, but also my fin supply etc.
The main problem for me would also be trying to organise a flight and accommodation to Canada from Europe (which would be super expensive I think), along with trying to keep it on the low for relatives. Honestly, I just want to get this done without anyone knowing.
That is why I wanted to stay local in Europe.

Then he can get another... and if he is on fin then he probably won't.
Somebody needs to do a study on this forum. All the bald people and non-fin users are so irrationally anti-HT and stuff. It's like they secretly want everyone else to go bald so they don't suffer alone.
