What is this "victim" thing? My hair loss is caused from a drug that has ****ed my life over, and if my efforts don't succeed then there is nothing worth fighting for. Anyone who wants a public career needs hair - and a toupée is out of the question.

I thought you had MPB. What drug caused your hair loss?

Winnie Churchill was bald. Making you amazingly wrong about the public career thing. You will probably argue with that, even though it should be a huge relief. Plenty of bald guys have public careers, so rest easy. You are wrong, but employable.

And I am also curious about this drug thing. No drug causes patterned baldness. You should look into the distinction between TE and MPB. You may argue this too, but it is also good for you. It means you have a stable donor zone if you want a transplant.

The victim thing started at the beginning of this thread.:
"Some of you are still in denial that life is worth living after NW3, so let me clear things up for you a bit."

"Sorry gentlemen, but you know I'm right. Why do we even bother living? The Government should put a no-child policy down for balding men. It should be against the law to spread inferior and defective genes."

"Speak for yourself. Every girl I know makes fun of bald men under the age of forty."

But your a victim that wants his cake and eat it too because you don't like girls rejecting /making fun of you for being bald yet it's ok to reject them if their boobs are not perfect.

Not sure if you are real, or rather the Crying Toad Kid in disguise but you have to admit that's pretty hypocritical.

"Haha, my ex-boyfriend is such a loser. And he's going bald now too!" - Actual quote from a girl I worked with.

This is so true.

But then again, plenty of girls like jerks, it doesn't mean we should turn into one. The way other people think is not in our control so why bother.

No offence to anyone, but I wouldn't trust a girl's advice on this issue or anything related to this topic. They all mean well, but most of the time they are describing some balding guy (or not) who is like this awsome and nice guy that they would want to be "friends" with.

Forgive the rambling mess ahead.

At the end of the day, as a guy, blaming your grief about the loss of your hair on the behaviour of "shallow women" is a great out. It means that the angst about our hair loss is motivated by external factors, as opposed to internal ones.

That first summer when I realized I was going to go bald? It's like a Zamboni completely flattened out the...um...ice rink of my sexuality (that was the worst simile ever, sorry). I actually forgot how to sexualize myself...I felt it was an absolutely absurd idea to present myself to a woman I was attracted to when I felt like somehow, I wasn't me anymore.

I've been in relationships with several women since my hair loss began. I've been with intelligent, understanding, and pretty young women over the past two or more years. And you know what? Whenever any one of these women told me that they found me handsome, I felt like they were lying. They weren't, of course; and I know that. I'm not insane. "But in my current state, being so obviously less than I was even by a few years, how could they possibly mean such nice things?"

Be honest with yourself. You don't want your hair back so that those horrible little girls will **** you. You want your hair back so that you can feel like you again.

My ultimate dream isn't for Histogen or Aderans to come out just in time for me to tyrannize the loins of every freshman college girl I see - rather, it's to know that in my old age, I'll be able to look into the mirror and see something even remotely similar to a face I could identify with.

Actually I kind of want to look like Samuel Beckett at 75.
