Receding hairline at 21, Norwood 3?

Hi Guys,

I noticed about five years ago that my hairline had receded. Looking back at pictures it took less than a year to get like this.

It has not receded any further since then, but I am curious if it is going to get worse.

Thoughts?

My hairline looks the same as yours .. but I keep my hair long. I am 25 and noticed significant hairloss when I was 20.. But I only started using the med recently
fin -8 months minox 10% - 4 months. I think rate of hairloss has subsided now but it looks like I am still thinning in the front at a faster rate. For me, the hairloss has worsened and my hairline looks much different than when it was at 20. Your best bet would be going to a doc. and getting a prescription.. I heard the meds work great when you are young. For me , I don't find them to be miracles,but they are the only option I got. Other suggestion I get from many people is try not to stress out too much about hairloss. Seems to be the best option out there but it's very difficult to follow..

Man, I am so jealous of some of the nice shape of the heads of some of you guys. You could actually dig the bald look and get compliments.

No one knows when you will become bald or when your hair will become thinner/worse again. Even doctors will give you ambiguous answers that will not give you satisfactory answers. Your best bet is to just monitor the amount of hair loss during showers/combing to see if you think it has accelerated comparatively to before or not. I guess it would be harder to keep track if your hair is cut short. Maybe take pictures and just keep yourself updated every month.

As your around NW3... I would think your MPH is still ongoing, unless by some miracle your hair loss did stop, which is unusual.
