Just did it! 4400 grafts with Rahal
i'm still a bit dazed and will post photos when i get them from the clinic tomorrow but so far so good. I went in yesterday for between 3500-4000 grafts mainly to my hairline and pushing as far back the crown as possible - i'd say I was a 5V on the Norwood Scale. Anyway, for once in my life i was above average and my good skin laxity (i've been doing exercises for 3 months) and density meant they harvested 4400 from my strip. I was in the chair for 11 hours which, in all honesty, was tough - i did manage to sleep a little from the local anaesthetic but the last 3-4 hours were a bit fidgety. Dr Rahal was as laid back as usual, he's not the most gregarious of characters but that just says he's good at his job and doesn't rely on charm! His assistant Mike was cool and talked me through the whole process though and i went back today for a wash and it looks pretty good to me, I can't wait for the results in 6 months plus!
As i say, i'll post some pics tomorrow and just want to say thanks to the forum in helping me make my decision and to go to Canada rather than have it done in the UK. I also want to say a special thanks to Spex and Gillenator for their impartial advice.

If you don't mind me asking, how much in total did you spend?

This is true, I would say Dr. Rahal is highly introverted.
Introverts make up about 60% of the gifted population. The archetypal artist, writer, sculptor, engineer, composer, and inventor are all highly introverted.

They tend to be perfectionists too which is really the type of character you want in this line of work. His results are stellar from what I've seen.

I think I'd rather Dr Rahals quiet perfectionism, than Dr Bauman's TV hack work ...

Congrats, prodigy. Those 11 hours will be worth it in the end.
