I have had 3 strip transplants by Dr Shapiro (so I went to a top doctor); I think it’s just my skin. I am very happy with my results. However, I have the type of skin that probably scars easier and especially with FUT tension. I would like to see who the best Dr for Scar repair is. I would like to be able to cut my hair shorter and as my donor thins not have any visible scars.

I have talked with Dr Umar and was intrigued by his idea of putting beard hair in the scar area and also cutting out the hypertrophic scar i have in the back.

My long term goal is to fix the scaring then one that is healed look at doing some FUE and then take advantage of any new technologies that will be coming.

I would appreciate your feedback on which Dr you would recommend that specialize in scar repair.

I would recommend Dr Cole. His yield is much better and his work is top notch. Dr Shapiro was a good choice but keep with the top docs, don't change level.
