Question Slow transition on Propecia

New user here. 34 and losing/thinner all over the top. Looked for info on this and did not see it from other posts. What about the idea of easing into Propecia to get a sense of the possible side effects first? That way, if the significant/permanent damage stuff happens then it will be lessened? Just seems scary to just go full on into it. I see comments about pill cutting. Do doctors suggest lower doses? Why can't one start on a lower dose and work up if no sides develop?

A good idea to work up to the recommended 1m a day dose. If you have concerns going into the med route re sides more than likely you might just get them as the mind is a powerful tool

Start on every 3rd day for example for a fortnight , then every other day for another fortnight .....

I am not a Doc but met many guys who have done it this way with good success as it allows the body to get used to the new drug gradually.

Proscar is a cheaper way to roll as is 5mg of Finesteride - cut it into 5ths you have 1mg the recommended dose - (much cheaper )

Video on cutting Proscar:
