Default Natural Natural Natural

I am looking for someone that has tried a natural hair loss regimen. I don,t want to put silicon dioxide or anything else I can,t spell into my body. I want
to try a natural path to help cure my receding hair line. Thankx.

After a LOT of research this is my list:

Gamma linoleic acid (GLA) - Borage oil and/or Spirulina. Do not take to much.

Licorice root, but be careful as it lowers testosterone and can lead to liver-failure (in moderate amounts it detoxes the liver).

Zink. Same here: too much is no good (actually raises DHT).

Iron

Vit. B12

Saw Palmetto, which i dont think works, but give it the benifit of doubt.

Be sure to keep a good ratio between fatty acids (omega 3-6-9)

First question is have you seen any results. 2nd is why have you chose to go natural. 3rd is I personally take saw palmetto. I heard it does the same thing as propecia or generic as to stopping dht. Why don,t you believe it works. Briefly what do all these things do.

I looked up Gamma linoleic acid and basically what I found out was it is a omega-6 fatty acid. I also read and know that most americans consume way more omega-6 fatty acids that omega-3,s so why would I need to take more omega-6,s.

1. yes
2. I dont go all natural (like i did for before). I use propecia too.
3. Saw has the same effect on prostate enlargement, but so does broccoli also and it dosent stop balding. I would like to see studies on the effect of saw, but i guess its results could be damaging to the finasteride industry. What do I know? It might work (i just cannot take that chance).
Briefly GLA and licorice root block receptor sites. Zink im not sure, but low levels is associated with high DHT-levels. Low iron makes your hair thin (menstrating women often have that problem. Eat meat and you will be fine). B12 is essential for the uptake of Iron (its also in meat). Lignans blocks estadiol (an estrogen which your body conteracts by DHT-formation)

GLA is not your usual omega-6 acid. It is very rare and is found only in a few herbs, blackurrant seed, some algae and mothers milk! Your body naturally produce some, but the level of production drops as you age. Many people will never get GLA from another source.
