Default i pulled a hair out of my graft

is it possible for it to grow back? i pulled the hair out to that little bulb root thing at the end, and i'm hoping it just grows back. how sensitive are the grafts to hairs being pulled out. also i'm at about 10 months in if that helps. thank you :]

It’s no problem, the hair will grow back. Those grafts have been secure for a long time and wlll act like your other hair.

thanks a lot! i wasn't so sure if they were unable to do that anymore or something.
also do you know if they shed like other hairs and are replaced as well?

oh and one more before i forget, is it possible for them to grow extra hairs?
what i mean is, is it possible for a single hair graft to start growing multiple hairs, even though it was originally put in as one?

It is possible for there to be hair follicles that were not seen during the procedure to grow in later. Even if the grafts are dissected under the microscope, they can be superimposed over one another and not counted during the graft making process. Also, at 10 months post-op you could pull a hair out without actually damaging the follicle, which should be secured below the scalp.

i have one last question. and by the way, thank you for your replies again, they were very helpful. but today i got a little worried, one of my grafts, has always felt kind of weird, like a hard pimple kind of stuck under the skin, it was one of the ones that got pulled out, and after a week or so it seems to have been infected or something, so i squeezed around it and a hard waxlike substance came out, along with a curled up hair. it may have just been an infected ingrown hair. and a bit of blood came out after. but any knowledge on this would be greatly appreciated.

i'm not sure if it was a graft i just popped out or if i didn't and now it may be ruined, i can live with it, it's just on the hairline.
