Default FUE in California?

Can anyone recommened some doctors that perform FUE specifically in California? I'm seeking a very minor procedure (about 200 grafts) that would touch-up my hairline in the right-temple. Aside from finding a doctor, it's also difficult to find one that will charge me appropriately. Most clinics want to charge me a cost that would be similar to a 1000 graft surgery. I inquired to Dr. Umar, but it would essentially cost me $5000 for the 200 grafts. I understand it's expensive to staff for a surgery, but that is unacceptable. Surely there are individuals that requre smaller cases of touch-up--not simply mega-sessions. I know there are several doctors in the East that charge more appropriately, but I'm hoping to limit travel expenses. Any advice would be great, thanks.

200 grafts probably isn’t even worth the effort, but I would only go to an IAHRS doctor. I don't think Dr. Umar is one. Call the doctors in your area on the IAHRS and ask if they would work with you. The price of FUE is about $8-10 per graft, so I think it will cost at least $2000 for the transplant that you want.

$5000 for 200 FUE is really expensive even for California. I always recommend experienced hair restoration surgeons for a surgical procedure. This is really more important when you are considering FUE. This a more difficult procedure and should be performed by a physician that performes this technique on a regular basis. At the very least get a few opinions from highly recommended doctors.

Oh my word!!!!

$5,000 for 200 FUE grafts?!?! That's absolutely insane!!! Where is Sofar when you need him?

You can get it down much cheaper with several options in doctors for FUE, and good FUE results too.
