Regenepure (Keto Shampoos): How often? Taper on?
So most people say 2-3 times per week with nizoral. But a lot of others who are using the "improved" Keto shampoos like Regenepure and Revita tend to use them as shampoo replacements. Basically using them daily or every second day.
What are your thoughts on how often to use it? I like the idea of using it daily, but I've never seen a doctor recommend more than twice or thrice per week.
I'M ****ING SCARED OF KETO NOW.I believe Nizoral gave me some shedding coming onto it, so I want to know whether tapering on this time will be of benefit. If so, what is a good way to do it? Should I do once a week for two weeks, then twice for two weeks, then three times from then on?
I'm starting to freak out. I always said I had some room to give, but I'm running out now.I DON'T WANT TO BE "THAT" BALD ARSEHOLE AT UNI. I JUST WANT TO STOP THIS CANCER AND BECOME AESTHETIC!!!!!!11 I ****ING HATE BALDNESS!!

I use Regenepure DR/NT but don't use them both on the same day. Some people have recommended using the NT right after the DR due to the drying effect of Ketoconazole but it really isnt THAT bad. I assume it is only 1% Keto but basically I use the DR once every 4 days and alternate between the NT and another shampoo the other 4 days.

Why don't you get Nizoral 2% instead of some random Keto shampoo by the name of Regenepure...

Because Nizoral isn't the thing that stops hairloss, it's the Keto inside. The problem with Nizoral is that it is quite harsh and contains sodium laureth sulfate. Regenepure and these other "random Keto shampoos" tend to avoid that.
In other words, they give the same benefit as Nizoral but without the negatives and harshness.
Plus Regenepure does include some more sketchy things like maybe caffeine or saw palmetto, but I didn't get it for that. If it helps, cool. But really I bought it for the reasons listed above.

On the website they recommend using the DR/NT together so I'll probably stick with that for the time being. When I'm not using regenepure I think I'll find another sulfate-free shampoo to use.
Sodium Laureth Sulfate can go eat a dick.

You cannot say this because these companies do not tell you how much Ketoconazole is in their formulas. The only thing you know for sure is that it is less than 1% Ketoconazole. You can't call it an "improved" keto shampoo either. These formulas might not even contain enough Ketoconazole to do anyone any good at all.

I've e-mailed Regenepure personally. Prepare to be proven wrong, Stacy.
But why 1%? It's 2% you need a prescription for.

Touche, wasn't aware of this. Do you know anything about a product known as NuHair? Being a science major, I usually try to find articles about alopecia on www.pubmed.com. Surprisingly, there's an article on there about NuHair and the results were quite...impressive, no lie.

Drop the niz. Everytime I've used it I've lost ground.
Revita was the first keto based shampoo I used and I lost ground.
Don't listen to tracy, if the FDA told people that one should jump off a bridge for Mpb she would advocate it.

Niz also had some nasty effects on me, so I'm looking for an alternative in the form of Regenepure. I am interested to know what amount of Keto it contains.
What Stacy forgets is that regardless of what the FDA says, we know based on studies that it's the Keto that stops hairloss, not "Nizoral 1/2%". If anything, having a lower level of Keto may be a blessing as it allows the shampoo to be used daily rather than X times per week. Afterall, who knows what the half-life for the effects of Keto is?
