Planning to start Dutas.. after 1 year 6 months on Fin.

I have been using finasteride (Finpecia) for about 1 year 6 months now. Though the hairloss has reduced, I see no improvement in hair quality or thickness. My frontal hairline and temple hairline have receeded further and I see more scalp showing through the frontal area. It's depressing to spend 20 minutues combing and getting my hair to look right before I go out. I was expecting better results (thicker and more dense hair) after 1 year but seems like its not going to work that way.
I have been thinking about using Dutasteride. Please suggest me if it's a right decision to go on to this drug and if so ,what is the dosage I should be using?
That sucks. I have been on finasteride the same amount of time, 1 year and 6 months and it has stopped my hair loss a long time ago. About a month in to treatment.
But like you, I have gotten no regrowth[no good regrowth], no thickness. Luckily my hair loss has not gotten any worse because of fin. I will be joining the Dutasteride crew later this year. Good luck.
