I wouldnt touch the stuff, not after reading the horror stories on propeciahelp - I really feel for those guys, I hope something comes out soon to restore them to their pre-fin state.

Answer is: NO.

As long as the majority benefits, the drugs is considered safe but still for a small minority it is deadly. This happens with all drugs.

We don't live in a perfect world, we never will. Truth of the matter is nobody really cares for the minority.

The FDA does not have God in their evaluation, they are just people just like you and me. As long as the statistics are good, it's all good.

how can it be safe then for the large majority who don't suffer these side effects to largely decrease the most important male hormone?

that would not be the case with a drug that lowered Testosterone, Estrogens, DHEA levels et cet..

On the same note, there are a lot of guys using this shit without any problems. Spex for example.

Proper research needs to be done for why the drug affects some guys and not others.

There are two categories of people with sides on fin:

1. hormonal composition
2. body's response to deprivation in DHT.

1.
Having a specific hormonal composition can result in transient sides and sometimes permanent sides. The body will overcompensate with the production of other hormones when DHT is deprived, this will wake up side effects such as gyno,ED,etc.

2.
Everyone's body is different, how you respond to you deprivation to DHT is different. There are users whose response is that the AR receptors in the entire body become completely unresponsive to DHT, meaning that they DO NOT respond to DHT anymore. No matter how much TRT therapy they get, their prostate,brain,penis,libido and even HAIR (yes these users with permanent sides DO NOT LOSE A SINGLE HAIR) do not respond to DHT anymore.

Both above are a small minority.

Propecia is safe in terms that the above happens to a small minority. Why? Because everyone's body's response to changes is different.

If we all had spex body composition, there would be no side effects.

You might be one of them or not, you can only try.
