Shedding

Hi,
I bought a ************ product (dualgen- with PG plus) i have been using it for 4 months now, in the beginning my hair began to shed and thin,i thought it is just the shedding phase in the begin of using a minoxidil solution but till now i still lose a large number of hairs everytime i wash my hair, and i have to wash it everyday because the solution causes a lot of dandurf and itching and it's even difficult to comb my hair when this solution dries on it. I do notice some little tiny hairs growing on the front of my head at the hairline but i still see my hair shedding and doesn't look fullier or thicker by the time. My question is does this mean it doesn't work for me or do i have to switch to anothor product like (minixodilmax dualgen 15 without PG ) which doesn't contain propylene glycol , or i have to wait some more time to see real results with the current product i am using?
