Had a super thick beard hair yesterday

Yesterday I was rubbing my chin and thought I had a scab from popping an in grown hair. Then I realized it was hair. So, thinking it was in grown I plucked it. It turned out the sucker was this hair with a huge diameter like a piece of twine, much thicker than probably 4 hairs combined. Has anyone every had this? I looked around and it seems this happens when several hairs grow together. It was kind of cool.

I have what I believe are in-grown hairs on my scrotum. Apparently they end up looking like these white bumps, and you need to prick them and pull the hair out to fix it.

Any experience with this? (Sorry to hijack the thread).

Also, sounds cool with the hairs growing together. At least you have good beard donour if you ever need it.
