Dr. Panine - Chicago Hair Transplant Clinic - 2,937 grafts 8 Months Post-Op
This patient is a 32 year old gentleman that came into our office with a goal in mind; to be able to comb his hair back. He had been wearing bangs for the last few years to hide his receding hairline. After establishing his medical history and understanding the progression of his hair loss, I diagnosed his condition as Androgenetic Alopecia (male pattern baldness), ruling out any other possible dermatological or medical conditions which can cause hair loss. After understanding the patientís concerns, I discussed several options with him on how we could reconstruct his hairline. We decided to take a more conservative approach and leave some recession in the temples, which would give him a good look after the surgery, but also as he continues to age. We placed 2,937 grafts, which were a combination of 1, 2, and 3 hair follicular units. These are his results 8 months after surgery. He will see more improvement over the next 6 months.
