Damn, I used creatine for about 4 months when I was 19, around the time when I must have been losing rapidly at the crown. Damnit!!

I used it for 5 years... I think it's the reason why my air is receding a bit and thinning a lot on the ride side of my head.

I've used creatine intermittently for at least +12 years and have never noticed any shedding

IF there is a link between creatine and DHT it must be because most creatine users use it to increase performance in anaerobic exercises and those have been found to increase DHT

I still don't think you are going to bald faster just because you lift weights, unless you use steroids, the hormonal changes from natural resistance training with legal supplements are minimal.

Creatine is totally safe, it's just that one study has shown it to increase DHT and therefore possibly make you lose hair if you're prone to it. But lots of things change hormones, like resistance training.

The question is whether these minute changes will cause you to lose hair, and even so, is it worth changing your lifestyle because of that?
