Besides, the only time a woman cares about your looks IS YOUR ENTIRE LIFE. Online dating proves my point. Ugly men are so disadvantaged it's not even funny. In fact, there was a guy on Spencer Kobren's show who made one profile of him bald and got no replies to the messages he sent, then made another with a toupée on, and got like six replies and some unsolicited messages. How could that be if older women didn't care about looks?
Even though it may be considered "normal" to lose your hair as a male, it doesn't change the fact that it's painful for the wife or girlfriend to experience. How could a woman not care that her partner is suddenly becoming way less physically attractive and youthful?
If women going bald was "normal", would you not care then? Would that somehow make it all ok then?

Your view about what women think about mpb have made me wonder about this for some time. And your comment about online dating is where I got some of my answers. As you know from my other thread, I have been testing the waters and too soon to know if I have had any good luck just yet.
But there is a 25 page thread on this very issue in the forum section. I will post the link if interested. Some of the men are complaining that hair is one of the requirements some of the women have but most of the women in that thread say it's not true. What they do say, and what really irks me, is many think they can tell you what to do about it once it happens.
Personally I have only seen 1 women imply hair was a requirement. She was older (53 I think) and sent a "want to meet" request to me. Despite being older, she was an attractive women who looked like one of my ex GF with a different hair color. In her comments section she said said something like - Come on guys- I want to see some of your pictures WITHOUT hats on. I could be wrong, but I guess she wants to see if you have hair or not.
On the other hand I have seen comments from both a mid 40's and a mid 50's woman saying they did not expect men their age to have hair or that rather it was considered a nice bonus but not a requirement.
So really my impression about mbp is that it does matter to some, not to others. And just my unscientific observation about women and looks, from what I have read the past 2 months I have been on these dating sites, is that weight matters more than hair FWIW.
