Unhappy 23 and struggling dealing with this

I have been on Minoxadil for two and a half months now and my hair looks terrible.

I think I can work out the pattern of baldness or maybe I am looking to much in do it.

Here is a pic, not great but the best I could do.

Do I keep on and fight or do I just no guard my head?

You live in Ireland?

This picture is horrible, take a better quality picture with enough light. It seems your receding a bit, minoxidil won't help on regrowth on receding hairlines but it can stop hairloss. Try getting on the BIG 3,

Minox/rogaine am/pm

Nizoral 2% twice a week

properica/proscar 1.25mg everyday. <--- after you visit a professional hair specialist.

you may also try 5% spiro and folligan cream/spray

Sorry, it really is a horrible photo, I need to get my camera back from my friend.

I am not worried about receeding that much as most of my brothers have high hair lines, I am just worried about going all bald.

I tried propecia but it caused pretty bad dysfunction, I keep getting told about Nizoral, is it prescription or can you get it over the counter?

Yes, you can buy nizoral 1% over the counter, I bought mine on amazon. Have you tried lowering your dosage on FIN(propecia/proscar)? It may help with any type of side effects.

You should give it a try, take half 1mg tablet every other day and work yourself up to every day. What are your side effects?

I also had side effects the first 4 months on propecia but i stick threw it and it went away, I had erection issues.

Hardly any erections and hard to maintain, watery seamen.

Just those two.

Sorry to hear that, how long have you been taking propecia? I would advice to take half of propecia every other day. This drug actually does work and has been proven to regrow hair. The big 3 combo is the best combination to fight hair loss, hopefully something safer and better comes out in near future.

I will give it a go, hopefully I will be ok with the smaller dose. When I first started before, I just went in to taking 1mg every day and it had a bad affect on me.

Do I need to slowly build it up in my system?
