What Stacy forgets is that regardless of what the FDA says, we know based on studies that it's the Keto that stops hairloss, not "Nizoral 1/2%". If anything, having a lower level of Keto may be a blessing as it allows the shampoo to be used daily rather than X times per week. Afterall, who knows what the half-life for the effects of Keto is?

Ive used regenpure, you wont shed on it , at least i didnt, but it will leave your hair feeling very dry and lifeless.

Do you use the conditioner one before or after? And how often are you using it?

I personally use both the NT and DR..love the shampoo. The DR definitely makes your hair feel dry and lifeless so to speak, but it's due to the KETO in my opinion.
It's Sulfate-Free and is better then Revita in my opinion, as I used that for over a year before switching. I love the Regenepure combo.
I use both the NT and DR 6 days a week. No complaints here. Quality shampoo if you ask me.

Not at all. There was a study done in Japan, and I think a few more, and each time it comes back as being as effective as Minoxidill. Quitting because of increase shedding is like quitting fin or minox because of shedding. I think you need to at least give it a couple of months to know properly.
It's hypocritical for me to say this, afterall I quite because of a keto shed. But this time I'm going to give it another try for a couple of months. If it still doesn't work then so be it.

What's your hair like? Are you maintaining?
I think Regenepure may have lower levels of Keto, but being able to be used daily would probably have the advantage of it constantly working. I don't know much about whatever half-life Keto may have, but I suspect it isn't long enough that you get the best benefit from using it for two days a week.

0.125 mg 5-7 days a part.
http://www.propeciahelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1170
This was a recommendation by the administrator at propeciahelp, so he of all people would know how to take the drug to limit the chance of sides, even though he still would not recommend taking the drug period. Read the studies he posted though. It is seriously worth starting at a low dose. What do you have to lose asides form some more hair? Give it time and if you think it is not helping, then up your dose.
Just my opinion based on what I've read. 0.05mg-5mg all inhibit the same amount of DHT. People talk about the 'half life' of the drug being so low, but it is irrelevant. It is about the time it takes for the 5ar enzyme to return to normal activity, and the effect that will have on DHT levels.
Now, there were no efficacy tests done for dosages of 0.02mg-0.2mg (not sure why), but there were for 1mg and 0.2mg. However, the sample of participants (100) was small and the differences between the .2 and 1.0 dosages in the first two cases were not apparent and, in the photographic assessment, which showed a larger mean improvement for 1 mg, the values overlapped statistically at the 95% confidence level. ---> 68.7
+/- 17.3 and 54.9 +/- 17.
You'd think Merck would have done efficacy tests on doses ranging from 0.05-0.2 based on the informormation they themselves submitted to the FDA, but nope. I wonder why? Maybe something to do with how much cheaper it would cost if people could use way less of the drug they were manufacturing.
Good luck man.
