Default liquifying minoxidil foam before application?

Right now i'm using kirkland minoxidil both in the AM and the PM. But i find applying it in the morning is just too much of a hassle. It's too much of a greasy mess and doesn't allow me to style my hair with wax/forming cream. In the evening that doesn't matter anyway since i'm in my bed then.

Anyway, i was thinking about solving this problem by buying some minoxidil foam for in the mornings. I don't want to apply it as foam to my scalp though, since i've read that most of it gets stuck in your hair anyway (and i have a medium haircut so it will get stuck for sure).

So i was thinking about just letting the foam melt in the cap every time i apply it in the morning. Then i would proceed to suck it up with a syringe and apply it directly to the scalp. Would this result in the same greasy mess as kirkland minoxidil or would it absorb rapidly and leave no (or less) trace?

What would be better for morning applications?
Kirkland foam or Essengen-5 Fast Dry from minoxmax

Get the foam for sure. But before you go to bed you really should be applying it a couple of hours before so it has a chance to absord, and not just rub off into your pillow and get on your face.

Ideally just use foam the entire time. I personally hate the liquid.

The is no need to use the foam all the time. Using the liquid in the evening saves money and there is nothing wrong with that.

There is also no need to allow the foam to melt before applying it. Just apply it while your hair is towel dry damp then massage it into your scalp as directed. This is what I do. My hair is a little longer than shoulder length. There is no need to over complicate things. Just use it as directed.

Ardana, like you I found my hair too greasy after applying regain in the mornings to style so I just use double dose in the evenings.

If your really dedicated you could get up 4 hours earlier, apply the foam, then wait for 4 hours for it to absorb then wash your hair before you go out but that is alot of hassle.

Foam makes my hair look really thick. I apply it in the morning, wait for 10 minutes to dry. Then I apply a little bit of aloe vera gel 100% to style my hair.

I don't give a shit about how it would make my hair look... I want it to reach my scalp rather so i have a shot at growing back some hair

Well then, just spray the foam directly to your scalp and massage it.

I use minox solution in the evening around 6pm during my work outs and wash it off or shower before bed, around 11pm.

What are you thoughts about my routing, is this affected as leaving it on over night?
