This fellow had a nice sized case at the end of June and stopped by last week when he was in our area for pictures and a scar check. Interestingly he had travelled to the Mideast and spent considerable time in the sun about a month out from surgery. Fortunately he didn’t get any pigmentation changes in his recipient area and his scar looks perfect. I believe he’s grown a few hairs but it will be December until he starts to see any significant and sustained growth. I expect him to stop by about then and sometime next summer for pictures as well.
Although this is too early for results to be shown, it does show a typical scar from our office with fairly short hair and that for most people, and what a normal appearance of the recipient area is at 3 months. Hopefully I’ll be able to put up nice pictures showing growth at the holidays.
