Sudden increase in hairloss

Hi all, for the past 2 weeks I've been having to wash my hair in the bath , this means I see all the hair that comes out. Normally I lose about 20-30 hairs in the bath each day. However the past two washes I'm losing huge amounts, like 80-100 hairs. What has brought on this sudden increase, is it the start of diffuse thinning or what? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It's possible that you are going to have diffuse thinning. Are you taking any hair loss medications?

No, I have slight temple recession and was told that my MPB is slow and non aggressive and to wait until I'm about 20 before I get on fin.
