My scalp has been itchy for months! Help!

I tried the "no shampoo" idea for about 2 weeks and boom, my scalp was itchy and it hasn't stopped.

I had dandruff and I used Head and Shoulders and I can say the dandruff has mostly stopped

But the itching is still there!



Where my scalp itches, and I scratch it, 1-2 hairs come out. Every time, how do I stop this itch? If a part of my head itches and I gently pluck, a hair will fall out and the itching will stop. Then it'll be somewhere else on my head...I will pluck with my fingers and a hair or two will come out and itching will stop.



Is an itchy scalp a sign of male pattern baldness?

Please help this itchy scalp is driving me crazy!

Sounds like MPB. I had an insane scalp itch that finasteride, for all its failings, stopped completely to my relief.

I mean could it not be anything else?

I still have a solid head of hair but jesus this itching is annoying.
