Update from histogen. Files new patent! dont uflly understand it but they say its a big milestone and it sounds like they're making progress.
edit: Woops Update on sept 5th-8th too? specifically about the hair product as well.
Update on hairloss product October 17th-20th at the ISHRS conference.
I have a feeling we may at least KNOW of a moderate cure/reversal by the end of next year. Many products going into the phase III at the end of this year(if they pass).
The race is on.

I have a strange feeling that its going to be a very tight race between Histogen and Aderans, both companys are approaching final stages... but the deal breaker is going to be who hits the market first. In such a case, competition is GREAT for the consumer as it promotes innovation and speeds up the process. I'd use the term 'consumer demand' for this innovation, but thats a given, they know people are going to line up for the procedures. I'll have my savings ready for whichever company launches their product first.

The new patent is tremendous news!! I'm also thinking that whatever the efficiency histogen and Aderans have shouldn't be a make or brake of their treatment release. They are both competing in the hair market but approach the problem entirely differently.
They aren't direct competition. Their prices will very as well as efficiency. I wouldn't even bother place efficiency against them if ones results are lesser than the other. Let them release what they have. Who knows they might target different hair growth independently. More treatments the merrier.
So hopefully they will have something for us in the next while.

Histogen could have this patent 2 years ago if it wasnt for Skinmedica - thank you faceless corporation for ruining everything.

we'll see, Replicel has interesting science as well and this PGD2 still needs a company to get behind it so there's IMO 4 big players right now with many others researching alternatives behind the scenes.
I also dont see the price being that high, my guess is around $100 bucks for an injection. Nothing like Hair transplant levels, it's the only way it will become mainstream.

They would be much further along as well with the research, probably deep into phase III by now but hey we can't get everything.
the good news is they're on track now and an update is coming.
