Yes, try to see a hair specialist before getting on propecia. When I first took it sure I didn't have morning wood anymore and wasn't has horny like before but when I was going to have sex with the ex, I made it go up manually lol. I had that issues for about a month or two but it went away. I'm actually a lot hornier and I'm not joking around, I believe my penis grew about an inch, which my ex though I have been taking some type of penis growth pill. Anyways, yes I became dependant using rogaine. I stopped using it a couple a months ago and I was shedding ALOT. So, I had to go back on it, I'm pretty sure my hair would of been better with out it.

Unless you have been using Rogaine for a full 18 months you cannot possibly be sure of that, because you have not been using it long enough. Treating hair loss takes a painfully long time and there is no way to speed it up. You don't actually know how well anything is working for you until you have been using it for a full year. Often longer.
If you want to stop using Rogaine, taper off of it slowly over a long period of time. Stopping Minoxidil abruptly can cause a massive shed, so don't ever do that. Always taper off of Minoxidil slowly.

Wow, talk about positive side effects lol, propecia is really weird in how it seems to either screw people over or do what its supposed too, even better if it does more like in your case, I'm still on the fence about it though, we'll see what the specialist says. Rogaine sounds like a joke though, I'm definately staying away from that, hope you can get off it.

Minox pushes hairs out of the resting telogen phase, that is why you shed when you start taking it.
It takes 6-8 months for them to grow back I think. You need over a year to measure how effective it is. The idea is that the weaker hairs are pushed out and stronger ones replace them.

Yeah, thankfully Propecia didn't affect me like most of these guys on this forum.
Thanks Highlander, I'm going to try foam one more time with propecia and RU hopefully I see positive hair growth.

If it works for you Rogaine is certainly not a joke. I grew a lot of hair back with Rogaine - and so have many others. Judging from your pictures though, Rogaine is not appropriate for you anyways.

Hey buddy, I personally don't think it looks like you're receeding. Your hair line looks fairly decent. But i would just keep an eye on it for any further progression. Hope it isn't MPB mate!
