This 47 year old patient had 4000 follicular grafts transplanted. The placement was 2000 in the front and 2000 in the crown. These are his results after 15 months. Please note the close-up of the hairline on the left side. The patient is very pleased with the result.

Very nice results. Can you tell me what size (length and width) strip was removed and his donor density?

The donor strip was 30 centimeters in length and was from .9 centimeters to as wide as 1.3 centimeters in width. I vary the width to prevent scaring. The donor density was 96 follicular units per centimeter. I have attach a photo of the patients donor tissue. When ever I do a transplant I always take measurements at five different locations on the donor area and keep a photo record of the denisty in the patients file. The attached photo is an example of this. This photo was taken at 50 times magnification and repesented an area of 20 square millimeters. Thanks for your interest.
